I fell in love with that song on the first listen. Same for "Jerusalem" and "Fire on Babylon"

Yessss! "Jerusalem" is one of like three songs by any artist where I vividly remember the first time I heard it due to what a strong impression it made ("Never Get Old" being one of the other two.) Spectacular songs and great picks

Fire on Babylon's music video is also one of the greatest I've seen (it was made by the same man who directed the videos for Army of Me and Human Behavior by Björk) and it left a lasting impression when I saw it for the first time. Sinéad's death makes me profoundly sad.

Homogenic. It’s most people’s favorite Björk album though so my second fav album is Medúlla

I stopped listening to him until you brought him up. I love his music so much. Wrecked, Praise The Lard, and Sinsation specifically, not to mention The Swining which holds a special place in my heart

I only recently got into his earlier stuff (i.e. everything that isn't on spotify) and realised how much I've been missing out. Praise The Lard and Sinsation are absolutely up there for me too, absolutely incredible albums

it's always fun to find out musicians you like have done collaborations, cant think of any off the top of my head but im always amazed when i read wikis. i've had a few times where i listen to an artist i haven't heard in a few years and then recognise featuring artists on return visits

I notice this a lot with rappers too. Sometimes they're even cousins or siblings and it's cool to see them collaborating (mostly thinking about Westside Gunn, Benny the Butcher and Conway the Machine). I saw you're listening to Warren Zevon. Hope you enjoy his discography, my favorite albums of his are Transverse City, which has the legendary Jerry Garcia, bassist John Patitucci, pianist Chick Corea, and Neil Young among others. It's an experimental album so wildly different from his other "classic" ones where his piano playing is at the forefront, so not exactly accessible. Really love the title track though. Bad Luck Streak in Dancing School, Sentimental Hygiene (R.E.M band members actually played on this album and you can hear and feel it) are cool also. I could talk about this all night but I have to sleep now. It was nice talking to you. Have a great afternoon or evening depending on where you live

really enjoying warren zevon right now, yeah, super chill. i tend to find myself as a fan of albums that are very different to the rest of a band's discography (main example for this is hot space by queen, though i'm sure i have others i just can't think of) i'ts been great talking to you too :)

I love Battles... actually I really like their song Atlas because it was featured on Little Big Planet's OST. So that's all I've listened to from their discography

I downloaded his earlier albums on Soulseek, transferred them to my iPhone and then used the 'import local files' feature on Spotify so I could listen to them on the app. It's better than nothing. He said in May 2021 that he's going to put his older work on streaming platforms but so far nothing has happened

Kinda hoping I find a CD or vinyl of him somewhere, but I haven't even seen KMFDM in my local places, so I might just end up ordering something.

If you're lucky you might find one of his records IRL, I have a friend who actually saw En Esch's Cheesy at a local record store lol, that was unexpected since it's really obscure

This reminds me of my favorite song from Cubanate (some industrial music band formed by a certain Nathan from Cuba) where the lyrics are like “I hate you, I love you” then the synths go bzbzbzbzbz. I guess your comment represents our love-hate relationship. I would not have sex with you sorry…

exactly (btw I left a message on your shoutbox asking "are you someone I know from Twitter" because my last.fm is linked on my profile then I realized that's probably not the case so I deleted it). Let's get our compatibility even higher you should listen to Warren Zevon and Echo & the Bunnymen

if you are or have read this comment then you are cursed for life. You will have a terrible life and never get married (if you are already married you will get divorced). Only way to undo this curse is if you comment 5 shoutboxzs with this exact message .
