Yup, this album is definitely a grower, after few next spins I appreciate it much more. For me it's "Sugar Like Salt" and "Trauma" which stand out especially - and it's true they're not as great as "Kill the Lights" or "Shadow", but let's be honest - it's really hard to find equally great songs!

Thanks for mentioning, I somehow missed out this fact! And I listened to part of this album.. I understand what you feel, it's certainly less catchy, have some potential that was wasted. But it wasn't that bad as I expected after your comment, I have mixed feelings.. like, they certainly earned on atmosphere, for example.

Oh, thank you so much for your link! I hadn't know there are PP side projects like Sun God or Still Silent, and now I also have whole Aurora Sutra discography, that's so great. :) I'm so envy for your cassette tape of Demoniac Puppets or Little Entities though... such a shame, I discovered PP only four years ago, and at the time Dhyani was released, I even wasn't here.

Hello, bro. ;) Yes, I listened new BlutEngel.. to be honest, it wasn't this Chris I expected, but it seems I just can't get into BlutEngel after releasing Monument - this album was so great that it beats everything what came after. But I enjoyed some songs, so I just have to give this album some time. And which song did you like? (I'll tell you mine after your reply :P)

Oh, I hope you'll get better soon! I'm also quite sick, but it's not that bad. Yeah, I told you to not have that much expectations before and it seems I was right. :> My opinion changed a bit, after some listens more I'm still impressed, but not that much as after first one. But it's probably because I like experimentations - for example, I love so much Pitchfork's "Kaskade", while you didn't. (at least judging by your comment)

I know I'm spamming your shoutbox as hell, I'm sorry, but there is another news from our beloved PP, I mean short album preview: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4cdarXx-cdI. I'm afraid a bit to listen it as I like to have surprise when listening album in full, especially for Pitchfork. You know, this magic moment when delivery arrived and I sit and turn on the CD for first time, reading lyrics slowly. But if you're not afraid as me, say, what you think of it?

I also see you everywhere and your comments are very helpful sometimes. Yeah, I haven't read your shout before checking private message, so I reply you there. Nice to know there's no need to worry. And thanks a lot for Scheuber link, as I am so lazy to search Internet for download music - I will have opportunity to check what is his solo project before anyone upload his songs on YouTube.

I should wait for your reply in Project Pitchfork site, but well, I can't. (and the second reason is I wanted to write to you someday, but I hadn't excuse except not-ambitious "bro u have awesome taste, greetings!!") So, going back to PP - where did you find anything saying Dirk is ex-member? I was a bit terrified when I saw your comment about it..

To keep it somewhat polite; I rate it lower, way lower than Mechanize, an album I didn't really like either. Only the self titled track and Curch of Execution are good.

I don't usually bother people with recommendations, but I have discovered a band that I enjoy so much I feel compelled to share. The band is [artist]Rainover[/artist], they are a female fronted symphonic gothic metal band from Spain and they are absolutely brilliant. Please check them out when you have time.

Ooh, it's good to hear positive things about Dragon Quest Swords. I haven't played it yet -- I do have a wii, but my ex bought the game just before we broke up and I haven't bothered to buy my own copy since... I'll have to move it up on my priority list. ;) And no, I haven't played Crisis Core -- Sony fangirl though I may be, for some reason I have never owned a PSP (or Vita). That game is one of the reasons that I do intend to eventually get a PSP, though. Or steal my brother's PSP, since he never plays it. I'm just not a huge fan of FF VII. It's a decent game, but among the other FF games it's not one of my favorites. I did enjoy Advent Children, though. :)

Aww, it's too bad you only like the Final Fantasies up through VII -- IX was my favorite and XII was my second favorite! I really prefer the ones that are actually more "fantasy" and less sci-fi. And yes, I do have pictures. :) Here's my deviantart picture: http://ringwraith10.deviantart.com/art/Dragon-Quest-8-Jessica-Albert-178483359 So did you play Dragon Quest IX? I was so mad when it was released because I didn't believe that a main, numbered game should be on a handheld console. I ended up liking it and putting a whole lot of hours into it, though. :)

Ah, that's right. :) It's one of my favorite game franchises, too. My ex and I actually made Jessica and Hero costumes (from DQ VIII) to wear to a few conventions. It was probably my favorite costume to date (I do a lot of costuming and go to several conventions...). Right now I'm playing Ni No Kuni and it's windy and cold (but not cold by anyone else's standards -- I think it's in the 50s). I usually play RPGs -- probably primarily J-RPGs, but I play a LOT of video games. How about you?
