Such a diverse music taste. Where do you get your inspiration to open yourself to new music?

why thank you! I suppose we can credit genres, specific emotions, fusion (among any genres) and albums for that. once I'm interested in a genre, I start classifying it's tracks per vibe. it gets so specific that even with a plenty of music in hand, I have to go out looking for stuff that elicits the specific kind of emotion I'm looking for. fusion between genres helps expose me to new kinds of music, and I always go after more of whatever I like. and last but not least, albums! when it comes to the ones that are consistent, I just love their narrative nature. and as someone who is always trying to match specifics, 12 tracks straight of music with similar genre and emotions transitioning so well into each other is irresistible.

For quite a long time, my inspiration to discover new music came from friends who could enthusiastically advise me to listen to something and give me facts about why this artist is worth listening to. Another source of motivation for discovering new artists is the constant desire to hear something familiar, something I've already heard and love in the artists I listen to. The obvious place to look for similar bands and styles is the artists that inspired my favorite bands, I kept digging and digging and that's how I got to 1950s and 1960s music and any stereotypes I had that old music was uncool were shattered
