Mareridt (Danish for 'nightmare') is the second full-length studio album by Danish folk black metal artist Myrkur. The album was recorded between Copenhagen and Seattle with producer Randall Dunn,
known for his work with Earth, Sunn O))), and Boris. Myrkur utilised an array of instrumentation including violin, mandola, folk drums and nyckelharpa (an ancient Swedish key harp), and the album features a collaboration with Chelsea Wolfe.
