Wait, this sounds rather upbeat. Almost... happy!?!? This is Pink Floyd, where's the cynical pessimism?

every sound they ever made is "real Floyd." I guess except for the majority of Atom Heart Mother. but it is by their own design that their music cannot be classified. songs like this aren't catchy pop filler. there's a reason you like it ;). all this song does is makes you rock out, and shows that Floyd is by far, if nothing else, one of the most versatile musical groups ever.

Classic Floyd. Reminds me a lot of Zeppelin's Physical Graffiti.... or perhaps the other way around.

This song shows Gilmour has versatility as a guitarist. He can shred and he can play slow. Love it. :D

The people who are claiming this isn't "real Floyd" (whatever that means), are obviously not schooled in the band outside of what's heard on commercial radio. From Piper though The Wall there's a huge range of styles/genres the band played in. It's even arguable that they created a new genre or two, or were at least equally responsible. Albums like Obscured By Clouds, More and Ummagumma got little to no commercial radio play in general, but all have brilliant stuff on them.

The Gold It's In The... is from the '[album artist=Pink Floyd]Obscured By Clouds[/album]' album. Oh By The Way is a reissue box set from 2007. And this cover is not the cover of Oh By The Way, it's '[album artist=Pink Floyd]More[/album]'.

What do you mean it's not like real pink floyd? Don't know how it could get much more real than this.

This randomly popped up while I was listening to Last.fm radio. Nice discovery of a Floyd song I've never heard, definitely more hard rock-esque than the other stuff I've heard.
