On “Start wit Me”, Roddy Ricch connects with fellow XXL 2019 Freshman, Gunna, for a JetsonMade-produced banger which finds them warning their opponents they wouldn’t want to “start a conflict with" the rappers, as Roddy and Gunna stay ready for action with “Glocks, AK’s and TEC’s” amongst other weaponry.
The track was released on October 25, 2019, and was later included on Roddy’s debut studio album, Please Excuse Me for Being Antisocial.
The song debuted at #75 on the Billboard Hot 100 during the chart week November 9th, 2019. The song later peaked at #56 during the chart week ending January 18, 2020.
“Start wit Me” was certified 2x platinum by the RIAA on December 6, 2021.
