"Punk Rock Loser" is the third single from Viagra Boys' third studio album "Cave World". The group once more teamed with SNASK for the accompanying video, which finds Sebastian Murphy moving through a Wild West setting.
"I’m painting a picture of this guy who’s a real asshole, but at the same time, I’ve been that asshole as well. It’s a song I could’ve written a couple of albums ago because I was that person. Sometimes I definitely feel like I’m a punk-rock loser. It’s like a flashback to my life five years ago. I’m making fun of it, and I’m also kind of romanticising it in a way, like when you’re walking down the street and you feel like you’re the king of the world. I love that feeling, but it’s not often I get to feel that way."
